Leeds and Eintracht Frankfurt fans start mass brawl after friendly game

Turns out it wasn't so friendly

Several Leeds United fans and those of Eintracht Frankfurt are spending the night in police custody after a near-riot broke out at the end of a friendly game between the two clubs this evening. The match in Austria ended 2-1 to the German outfit, but at full time fans were more interested in beating seven shades out of each other than shaking hands and moving onto the next pre-season warm-up game. There was no players on the pitch at the time, but various reports suggest the majority of those involved were Leeds fans who were allegedly incensed after a club flag was torn up by some German fans.
