Aguero cut out pasta, sugar and meat from his diet in a bid to put an end to his history of muscle injuries and it's paid dividends as his only injury this season came after a knock to his knee but other than that, it's been another fantastic season for the Argentine who has 31 goals this season.
The diet is part of Dr. Poser's nutritional theory that Lionel Messi has followed since he first visited the doctor last year and it's not worked out too badly for the Barcelona forward who has 53 goals in 52 games.
Dr. Poser told MEN: “Vegetables, seasonal fruits and a good mineral water are essential fuels for our muscles. You have to reduce the intake of processed foods or foods contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, medications...”
