There is nothing better, before and after big Ireland games, than getting the Gift Grub slant on affairs. This morning, as the nation basked in Jeff Hendrick's slaloming run, the Today FM skit delivered its verdict on Ireland's Euro 2016 chances. While Brian Kerr [voiced by Mario Rosenstock] described the Irish performance as "skuttery" and Robbie Keane cartwheeled through the Departures Gate to L.A, Eamon Dunphy stole the show. Moments after praising the unbeatable Germans, whom Ireland face next, Dunphy was asked for his opinion on the match. 'I think we'll hammer them,' he declared. 'The Germans are a busted flush. They're spoofers, they're toe-rags. there's bad blood there. They're nasty, nasty people and they're going to get found out. 'Wesley Hoolahan is going to do the Germans.'
