Liverpool earn more TV money than Manchester City

Liverpool earned more money through broadcast rights than Premier League champions Manchester City last season.

The Reds finished in second place, just behind City who edged them on the final day of the season, but Jurgen Klopp's side earned more television money with the Merseysiders taking in £152.425m in revenue compared to City's £150.986m. A new distribution deal means that Sky customers in Ireland will now have access to every one of the 233 Premier League games slated for live broadcast from next season with Sky now offering BT Sport and Premier Sports to their television customers through a bundle or on a standalone basis.
