Owen tragically lost a short battle last month, and in his memory Spion Kop 1906, a group that organise flags and banners on The Kop, will display a special flag in his honour.
The flag will be present at future games, starting with tomorrow night's League Cup second leg against Stoke City.

The group also posted this message on their Facebook page, which also includes a heartbreaking letter from Owen's father Mark.
