During the daunting time period of monotony between the international break and the anticipated return of club football, we often find ourselves resorting to debates of old-age, that will probably never be solved.
And BBC Sport have weighed in on a major debate, asking 250 of its staff one pressing question - who is the biggest club in Britain?
Factoring in the most major trophies, generation of revenue, social media following and stadium capacity into the equation, the digital publication have come to a combined conclusion as follows below.

As for major trophies, Celtic have won the most (119), followed by Rangers (118).
In England, Liverpool boast the most major trophies (47), closely followed by Manchester United (45).
As for social media following, The Red Devils have the most cross-platform followers with a whopping 215.8million, way clear of Manchester City in second with 158.6million.
