Liverpool’s fans get the worst possible news about Sadio Mané, and they’re not happy

The news that Liverpool fans were fearing the most has come to pass - Sadio Mané will miss the rest of the season. Mané is such a pivotal player for Jürgen Klopp's men for a plethora of reasons. He acts as the talisman and the focal point to their attack. He strikes fear into the opposition defence, and stops them from playing a high line. On Tuesday, Klopp explained that the club were still waiting for swelling on the knee to reduce in order for a scan to be carried out. Now it transpires that the player will not play again this season, and will require surgery on his knee for ligament damage.
