Man who tried to break into Jose Mourinho’s house receives prison sentence

A man who reportedly tried to force his way into Jose Mourinho's house has been jailed for attempted burglary.

Gabor Roman, 25, was caught trying to break into Mourinho's London home on July 10 as the Manchester United manager watched the Euro 2016 final on TV inside. A maid spotted the burglar and screamed “What are you doing here?”, according to The Sun. Roman tried to flee the scene but he was blocked by a security guard who had been tracking his movements after noticing that he was looking for entry points at several other addresses on the street. A team of eight police officers arrived at the scene and took him away in handcuffs. The attempted burglary happened just hours after Mourinho had been at Wimbledon to see Andy Murray win the tournament for the second time in his career by beating Milos Raonic in straight sets.
