Manchester United have reportedly agreed for Brazilian midfielder Casemiro to leave the club this month, as per reports.
The 32-year-old has featured 24 times for The Red Devils so far this season. However, has only played made two appearances, both as a substitute, so far in 2025.
After coming on as a last-minute substitute most recently against Leicester City, Brazilian outfit Flamengo have now made a reported approach to sign the player, according to reports in Brazil.
Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis is the club's manager and has given his approval to sign the international star.
United would also reportedly be prepared to pay a large proportion of the player's salary.
The Brazilian window closes on February 28th, with the club yet undecided on whether to sign the player:
“I can assure you that Flamengo investigated the player’s situation in the last few days. The English club agree to loan him and help with part of his salary. Filipe Luís would love to count on Casemiro,” he stated.
“Flamengo understand that, given all the figures, it is a very risky business. Even though United are willing to help with most of the salary, there would still be a very high amount to be paid.”
