Manchester United’s transfer plans for next season include £100m move for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United are making plans for next season.

They may not know for certain who their next permanent manager will be, or whether they will be competing in the Champions League, but it appears Man United have drawn up plans for next season. According to the Telegraph, United have prepared a transfer shortlist for this summer's window. Jadon Sancho, the Borussia Dortmund winger, is reportedly their number one target. The 18-year-old has become of the most highly rated players of his generation thanks to his form for the German side. Since joining Dortmund from Manchester City for £8m ahead of the 2017/18 season, Sancho has scored an impressive 10 goals in 46 games. This season alone, he has 14 goals and nine assists. The report claims United are prepared to pay £100m for the winger, a move that would make Sancho the most expensive English player ever. The club are also said to be tracking Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly and want to add another midfielder to the squad. A move for Sancho could bring an end to Alexis Sanchez's time at Old Trafford - if United can get a club to take the Chilean off their hands. The Telegraph also reports that the United squad expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be the manager next season. The Norwegian has been a tremendous success as the caretaker coach since replacing Jose Mourinho in December. United are currently in fourth place in the Premier League. It seems inevitable that Solskjaer will be given the job permanently and, if that happens, he will surely have a say in the club's transfer plans for next season.
