Man Utd charged by UEFA following Champions League win against Villarreal

Manchester United have been fined by UEFA after being found guilty of two charges around the Champions League game against Villarreal at Old Trafford, as per Manchester Evening News. The Red Devils beat the Spanish outfit 2-1 last month with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a 95th-minute winner to complete a stunning comeback. The Portuguese captain celebrated in front of the United fans in the Stretford End, but a pitch invader joined in the celebrations - an offence which the club has been charged for. Additionally, UEFA has charged United for the throwing of objects at Old Trafford. United could be facing another UEFA charge following Wednesday's comeback victory against Atalanta in the Champions League. The Red Devils came from two goals down to win 3-2 against the Italian side, with Ronaldo scoring another late winner. Following the full-time whistle, a pitch invader again managed to get on the Old Trafford playing surface as they made an attempt to get Ronaldo's shirt.
