Mauricio Pochettino leads Tottenham changing room celebrations

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino led his club to their first ever Champions League semi-final with a 4-3 loss to Manchester City on Wednesday night.

City advanced to the final four on aggregate thanks to three away goals and have now set up a semi-final meeting with Ajax following their win over Juventus. Pochettino has failed to win a single trophy during his five years with Spurs but Wednesday's triumph over City was a historic moment for the club and it was certainly celebrated that way when the Tottenham players returned to their dressing room at the Etihad Stadium. https://twitter.com/GMS__Football/status/1118863536036503552 Tottenham were saved by an intervention from the Video Assistant Referee who ruled out a late Raheem Sterling goal to maintain Spurs' advantage and Pochettino said that he'd never seen anything like it in football.

"I must be one of the luckiest guys on the planet tonight. I thought it was all over but it was a fun game. It was a rollercoaster, we gave them a lot but also got a lot. It was a weird game," he said. "I have never seen something like this. It was tough and crazy but we are very proud of our team mates. It was madness. Sometimes you are annoyed with VAR but today it is thank you. We fought together for 90 minutes. We showed unbelievable character and fight."
