Balotelli is reportedly on a contract worth £5 million a year on Merseyside, which is an awful lot for his role as a bench decoration, but the offer shows just how far his reputation has dropped since his days as one of the most promising young forwards in Europe.
Palermo have also seemingly given Balotelli a deadline of 24 hours to arrive at his decision. They're not messing about.
