Paul Pogba has called out The Sun newspaper, accusing them of using 'big lies to make headlines', after the paper suggested he had 'snubbed' his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The report in the Sun claims that Pogba did not speak to Solskjaer following Manchester United's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, having been left out of the initial starting XI. Solskjaer is understood to be liked personally by his squad, but numerous reports now claim the playing squad have lost faith in his coaching ability. Pogba took issue with the Sun's assertion that he 'snubbed' his boss on Sunday, tweeting a screenshot of the story with a big 'fake news' sticker over the top, captioned: 'Big lies to make headlines.' https://twitter.com/paulpogba/status/1453284060223188992?s=20 The Frenchman was then backed by United as they reposted Pogba's tweet with the caption 'Strength in unity'. https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/1453303591947616263   This follows reports that Pogba is willing to extend his stay at Manchester United  - with his contract expiring at the end of the season - but only if Solskjaer leaves as manager. Again, as reported by The Athletic, United's players are believed to like Solskjaer as a man, but believe it is time for a new direction in terms of coaching. According to a report in the Telegraph, Solskjaer has been given three games to save his job. Suffice to say, his days are numbered. The humiliation against Liverpool, three tough games coming up against Spurs, Atalanta and Manchester City, and an international break coming up, all point towards United finally relieving the club legend of his duties after almost three years in charge.
