Paul Scholes launches another two-footed attack on Louis van Gaal’s tactics

For a man that didn't say much when he was playing, Paul Scholes has really developed in a real motormouth.

The former Manchester United midfielder is one of the most vocal critics of Louis van Gaal this season, as Manchester United struggle to set the goalscoring charts alight with their stodgy sideways play. Scholes has previously criticised LvG's approach as boring, and said that he personally would not want to play in the current Red Devils side. And despite no Premier League football this weekend, Scholes has once again attacked Van Gaal's style in a piece on today's Daily Star Sunday. The former England midfielder feels that van Gaal' needs to be less clever with his approach and get back to basics.

Van Gaal shot back at criticism by Scholes last month over his team's style with a cutting put down of the multiple Premier League winner's criticism. We await his response ahead of the resumption of top flight action in the coming days after the international break.
