PIC: Liverpool fans boycott Hull game in protest at expensive ticket prices

Rumours they couldn't face watching Mario Balitelli play up front anymore are denied

In the build up to tonight's crucial Premier League clash between at the KC Stadium, Liverpool fans had threatened that they would boycott the game. The supporters decided the match would be the ideal time to protest at the apparent ever increasing prices of away tickets as tickets for the match were priced at almost €70. Tonight's protest has been organised by the Spirit of Shankly group, and they had hoped that as many as 500 seats would be left unfilled.
