Nikita Jelavic is Hull's top scorer this season (8 goals) but his thigh injury has come at an unfortunate time. Dame N'Doye (5 goals) is next. Liverpool's leading scorer, in the league, this season is Raheem Sterling (7 goals). He is an attacking midfielder but has often been deployed as the club's main striker. Of the club's four dedicated strikers, the goal tally is thus: Daniel Sturridge 4, Rickie Lambert 2, Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli one each.
