Man City confirm the signing of Raheem Sterling

Man City have just made Raheem Sterling the most expensive English player ever.

The club confirmed the singing of the 20-year-old from Liverpool today in a deal worth up to £49 million. This sees the youngster overtake Andy Carroll, whoo Liverpool paid an astounding £35 million for in 2010, as the most expensive English footballer of all time. The England international had been perpetually linked with a move to the Etihad Arena after falling out with Brrendan Rodgers over contract negotiations.
