The SSE Airtricity League is back on Friday but the real action has already begun.

The jersey battle has kept us busy through the off-season and, with 12 teams fighting it out to win the SportsJOE Kit League, it's time to put them out of their misery. Here's a list - completely subjective - of our favourite premier division kits. Apologies in advance. 12. Wexford Youths With all the sponsors we're not sure if this is a football jersey or Formula One clothing. 11. St. Patrick's Athletic Grand. Let's hope the football at Richmond Park isn't this boring. 10. Galway United Nice colours but a very strange collar. 9. Shamrock Rovers A classic that is hard to get wrong - it gets really competitive from here. 8. Derry City Despite the sexy go faster stripes on shoulders this is a little safe. 7. Sligo Rovers A big improvement on its St. Pat's counterpart. 6. Bohemians A fine piece of knitwear. Could be higher. Sorry. 5. Cork City Lovely. 4. Longford Town Similar to Bohs. Plainer. Better. 3. Bray Wanderers A fine, ballsy entry from Nike. 2. Finn Harps A throwback. A gem, as long as you like big collars. 1. Dundalk Worthy of a champion. Top banana.
