Another chapter in the strange tale of Ravel Morrison's career.

Ravel Morrison's career has been one of huge disappointment. Touted as the brightest talent to come through an English academy since Paul Gascoigne, Morrison's career never lived up to the hype. A plethora of problems saw him leave United for West Ham in 2012 for a fee of just £250k, where he enjoyed a promising start to the 13/14 season. But as always, it didn't last, and a falling out between him and Sam Allardyce saw the club terminate his contract. Then it was off to Lazio, who took a punt on a talented but troubled 22-year-old. Now 25, Morrison has only played five matches for the Rome club, spending most of his time out on loan at Queens Park Rangers and Atlas, who are based in Mexico. Östersunds FK rose to moderate fame when they came up against Arsenal in the Europa League last season, during their time under Graham Potter, now manager of Swansea. Potter was replaced by another Englishman, Ian Burchnall, who has spent his entire coaching career in Scandinavia. That could be a decisive factor in Morrison deciding whether or not to join the club, knowing that there would not be the same language barrier that he will have experienced in Italy and Mexico.
