Real Madrid’s 21 match winning streak by numbers

Real Madrid hardly broke sweat defeating Cruz Azul 4-0 in the semi-final of the World Club Championship, extending their staggering run of successive wins to 21 games.

We've taken a look back through their fixture list and broken down the numbers, putting their incredible form into perspective. They even hit eight in one match against Deportivo back in September. 4 - You'd imagine there were a few close shaves throughout a run of 21 wins on the trot, and you'd be wrong. Only four of their games have been won by a solitary goal. 2 - Real have only suffered the stress of falling behind twice in their last 21 games, showing just how routine these last 21 wins have been. And 1,890 - Real's winning run when broken down to by minutes, although it's probably been closer to 2,000 by the time injury time is factored in.
