The newspaper is reporting that Walters has undergone successful knee surgery on the troublesome ligaments in the past few days, and it is hoped he will be back to full fitness within a matter of weeks.
The newspaper reports that sources close to the player are hopeful he will be back to full fitness sooner than the medically advised 4-6 week rest period, having previously recovered in three weeks from similar surgery.
