Report: N’Golo Kante leaving Leicester City could be good news for Robbie Brady

Robbie Brady's move to Leicester City could be back on.

Reports last week suggested that the Premier League champions had called of their pursuit of the Norwich City player. Leicester had bid £12m for Brady, but his club wanted a fee in the region of £20m. However, according to The Daily Mirror, N'Golo Kante leaving Leicester could open the door for a renewed attempt to sign Brady. The Foxes received £30m from Chelsea for one of their star players, but have a ready made replacement in the form of Nampalys Mendy, who recently joined the club from Nantes for £13m. Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri reportedly wants to use the windfall from the Kante deal to increase their bid for Brady, and Burnley central defender Michael Keane. Both players came through Manchester United's academy, and Leicester are believed to have already bid £15m for Keane. While, last week, Norwich manager Alex Neil addressed the transfer rumours surrounding Brady, saying: "We'll wait and see what happens with that situation. But we're certainly in no rush to move Robbie, or anything like it."
