Ronaldinho has no plans to retire and could be set for a move to England

It's a good few years since Ronaldinho was at the peak of his powers.

Having opted to sign for Barcelona instead of Manchester United in 2003, the Brazilian was one of the greatest players on the planet in his time at Camp Nou. As well as his individual brilliance, many regard him as the catalyst for Barca's dominance of the European game for the last decade. Once he left for Milan in 2008, Ronaldinho failed to hit the same heights that he reached in Spain. Now 35, and having represented a further four clubs since leaving Italy, many expected him to call time on his career after leaving Fluminense. But according to Roberto, his brother and agent, Ronaldinho has no plans to hang up his boots just yet - and his next destination could well be England. "I have had more than one call from England," he is quoted as saying by The Sun. "My brother is a competitor. He loves to win. That is what people do not realise about him." "He still wants to play. He has never had serious injuries; his body is in perfect condition. "I think he has three or four years left to him, maybe more." It's unlikely that a 35-year-old Ronaldinho will suit the pace of the Premier League, but given his recent performance at David Beckham's UNICEF match, he clearly hasn't lost the ability to entertain.
