Ronan O’Gara pays heartfelt tribute to hero of Cork football, Liam Miller

News was confirmed late on Friday night of the sad passing of former Ireland international Liam Miller, at the age of 36. The Cork native, who also lined out for Celtic, Manchester United and Cork City, died after a tough battle with cancer. Miller leaves behind a wife, Clare, and three young children. Fellow Corkman Ronan O'Gara was not the only one to pay tribute to the midfielder and sent out this heartfelt tweet on Saturday morning. https://twitter.com/RonanOGara10/status/962230183364358144 On the TV3 panel for their coverage of Ireland's match with Italy, O'Gara spoke superbly about Miller. He spoke, again, of his achievements as a footballer before stating:

"Condolences to Liam's lovely wish and his family. Many young people in Cork who supported football would have looked to Roy Keane first and Liam Miller next."
