Dave Jones: “How did Mane win a penalty?” Roy Keane: “Because he’s up against an idiot.”Following his tirade against both Manchester United AND Arsenal, last Sunday, Keane was much happier to be watching City and Liverpool playing to a much higher standard at The Etihad. He even found time to rinse fellow pundit Micah Richards. None of us saw it coming, but all of a sudden, Roy Keane and Richards are everything we've ever wanted from a punditry double act. Despite their ties to opposing sides of Manchester's footballing divide, a fine bromance has blossomed between the two since they started working together on Sky Sports. https://twitter.com/ManUtd_HQ/status/1287849206997188609 More evidence of this was seen ahead of Manchester City's Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday, as Keane was asked for burgeoning City talent, Phil Foden. In an interview with Sky, Foden, a boyhood City supporter, had discussed his memories of following the club through his childhood, when Richards was part of the first team.
"The key for him [Foden] now, is to do it week in, week out," Keane said. "He's made one or two mistakes but is a talented kid. "His interview, he came across really well there. Obviously, his stuff about Micah, he probably needs to be drug tested for that... !"Richards, at this point, broke into his infectious laugh.
