Sergio Aguero diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia after hospital tests

Aguero was substituted in Barcelona's game against Alaves after complaining of troubles with his breathing

Barcelona foward Sergio Aguero has been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia after being subbed in the draw with Alaves due to trouble breathing. The 33-year-old asked to be replaced in the first-half and was seen looking concerned whilst holding his chest. Aguero was then transferred to hospital where he undertook tests to determine the cause of the pains. https://twitter.com/FootballJOE/status/1454553868046671884 According to Spanish outlet Diario Sport, the results concluded that the Argentine's chest pains were due to a previously undiagnosed cardiac arrhythmia - a form of heart rate rhythm disorder. Aguero is set to have further tests to discover the full extent of the disorder and is expected to miss Barca's must-win Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night whilst he waits for more news. The news comes as another blow for the experienced forward after he's struggled for fitness since his move from Manchester City in the summer. Aguero had been out with a calf injury before making his debut for the side during El Clasico - which Barca lost 2-1 at the Nou Camp - scoring a late consolation in front of the home fans.
