Son somehow excluded from PFA player of the year short-list

The Professional Footballers' Association have unveiled the list of players nominated for the Player of the Year Award, with the league's joint-top scorer, Heung-min Son, excluded from the list. You will see though that Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been included on the list of those nominated. Of course, he has scored goals for United, but the 37-year-old found the back of the net 18 times and his all-round performance was sometimes questionable to say the least. Son will likely feel even more aggrieved knowing that the man who he shared the golden boot with, Mohamed Salah, has been nominated alongside two other Liverpool players.
