Kylian Mbappé lit up the Santiago Bernabéu with a crucial goal in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Getafe, keeping Los Blancos in the hunt for La Liga glory.
Mbappé has not shown his top form for Madrid since joining on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, but he was back to his best on Sunday night.
The French forward hit a decisive strike from 25 yards out following a sublime assist from Jude Bellingham, who opened the scoring with a penalty in the first half.
Mbappe's goal sealed the game and showed he is still one of the most talented footballers in the world.
You can watch the goal below.
The Real Madrid superstar, however, was almost upstaged by a Republic of Ireland underage international.
John Joe Patrick Finn came agonisingly close to reducing the deficit with a thunderous strike that hit both the crossbar and post.
Finn, who entered the game as a substitute in the 66th minute, has represented Ireland at Under-19 level.
The midfielder, 21, was born in Spain and played for Real Madrid's academy team before joining his current side Getafe.
He is eligible for the Boys in Green through his Mayo-born father. Finn's mother is French-Cameroonian.
Finn has been on the edge of the Getafe first-team and has made 12 appearances, scoring once, for the La Liga side.
The midfielder, however, could become a permanent fixture in the starting XI if he continues to impress as he did against Real Madrid.
Finn could also potentially develop into a useful option for an Ireland team lacking quality and physicality in central midfield.
