Chambers, 28, has agreed a move to the Pennsylvania outfit who are a feeder club for MLS side Philadelphia Union.
Chambers developed through the Shelbourne youth set-up before enjoying spells at Shamrock Rovers, Hamilton Academical, Drogheda United and two stints with St. Pat's.
The midfielder's departure will be a significant loss for Liam Buckley as Chambers' stellar performances over the past twelve months earned him a place in the PFA Ireland Team of the Year last season.
