Sylvester Stallone regrets not buying Everton when he had the chance

Things would be a hell of a lot more interesting around Goodison Park if Sly Stallone had gotten his way eight years ago.

The Rocky and Rambo legend has revealed that he deeply regrets not buying Everton in 2007. Stallone, 68, became a Toffees supporter that season when he attended a game with friend and club director Robert Earl. The Expendables star announced that nowadays he would be unable to afford the club. “If I knew what I know now I’d have snapped it up," he told The Daily Mirror. “That was when football clubs were affordable but now it’s a billionaire’s game." Not sure how adept Sly would be in the tactics world but with quotes like this up his sleeve, Everton wouldn't be long getting motivated back into the top half of the table. “Life's not about how hard you hit... it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”
