It must be terribly irritating for foreign players to arrive in England and have the media, fans and even your own teammates butcher your name.

Liverpool supporters, listen up. The man-hours have been put in and we now know how to pronounce the name of your beloved Emre Can. Let all the bickering over whether it's Em-ray Kan or Um-reh Chan be put to an end because it's bloody neither. Turkish-football have kindly enlightened us buffoons as to how to vocalise his name.
