England head coach Thomas Tuchel has reportedly dropped two players ahead of his side's World Cup qualifier against Latvia at Wembley tonight.
The 51-year-old took charge of his first England fixture on Friday evening with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Harry Kane getting on the scoresheet to secure a 2-0 win over Albania.
Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White and Liverpool defender Jarrel Quansah were left out of the 23-man match day squad.
However, according to BBC Sport, they are set to return to the squad against Latvia.
Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon came on against Albania as a second half substitute but appeared to pick up an injury in the final few moments of the game and as a result he has returned to his club.
Club teammate Tino Livramento was also included in the 23-man squad against Albania but has reportedly been dropped ahead of this evening's clash.
Livramento's omission means that Lewis-Skelly is likely to retain his position in the starting line-up after making an impressive debut on Friday.
Southampton shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale is also set to miss out for the second consecutive match.
Tuchel said: "We have to get the process right to find the best group.
"If that means we leave very good and talented players out of the squad this can happen. In the next 16 months it is important we find the right team and not the most talented 26 players.
"We need to get the team right. We need to get the team spirit right because it's one thing to play qualifiers, it's another thing to play tournament football."
