Three last-ditch punts to salvage some Fantasy Football points in the final gameweek

As the Premier League season sadly comes to a close, so too does the Fantasy Football league whose summit you've spent months trying to reach. There are only 90 minutes left of lionhearted Leicester, monotonous Manchester United and chucklesome Chelsea as a season full of surprises fades to black. But if you find yourself in dire straits, with ground to make up in FF, we've come up with three do-or-die introductions who could make all the difference at the final hurdle. A Sunday kick-off and with nothing but a Europa League place to play for in the league means that Jurgen Klopp may select the team chef and tea lady at the back for their trip to the Hawthorns. Klopp will have his men wrapped in cotton wool for Wednesday's Europa League final against Sevilla so don't expect to see a full-strength teamsheet from the German. Even with a full complement of defenders, Liverpool's vampiric centre-halves have struggled to deal with balls into the box all season long. Salomon Rondon is big, strong and can bully defenders at set-plays. He's selected by almost nobody, is relatively cheap for a striker with eight goals this season and has just broken something of a goal drought. Crystal Palace quite literally have nothing to play for and will be peering past Southampton towards their FA Cup final against Manchester United next weekend. Southampton's Dusan Tadic is currently enjoying some of the best form in the league, having been involved in eight goals over his last four games for Saints (2 goals, 6 assists). Ronald Koeman is one of few managers who actually sees some value of a place in the Europa League so he'll want to give his side every chance of qualifying for Europe next season. Tadic is on fire and he should burn Palace to the ground this weekend. No Gylfi, no problem. Andre Ayew has picked up the slack left by the Icelandic midfielder whose season was finished by a shoulder injury. He's got three in two and can punish a Manchester City side who are left devoid of motivation under the outgoing Manuel Pellegrini. Get him and thank us later but if he does F-all then forget we said anything.
