PIC: Times are so tough at Wigan that the fans have taken to watching Champions League on their phones

We've sat through our fair share of borefests wishing that there was a superstar like Lionel Messi in our midst.

And things obviously got too much for this Wigan fan during his side's 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff last night as he decided to switch on the Champions League instead. We can't blame the Latics supporter for losing interest as just two years ago Wigan were playing Premier League football and had an FA Cup final on the horizon but currently find themselves second from bottom of the Championship. Sad times.
