Liverpool are prepared to jump the queue and bid £6.5m for Reid, hoping the offer will force the Hammers' hand despite the club wishing for him to remain at Upton Park.
According to The Sunday People, Rickie Lambert is on the wanted list of a number of Premier League strugglers after being made available for a loan move, with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Lambert's playing time has being limited since signing for his hometown team last summer, and has now fallen further down the pecking order with Daniel Sturridge's return to first-team action.
Brendan Rodgers is apparently open to Lambert leaving before tomorrow night's 11pm transfer deadline, and although the forward wants to stay at the club, he accepts his playing time is only likely to decrease as the season progresses.
QPR, West Brom and Hull City are all interested in signing the 32 year old England international.
Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a deadline day move for Everton's Kevin Mirallas, and will offer Aaron Lennon as part of the deal, according to The Guardian. The Belgian winger is reportedly unsettled at Goodison Park and apparently wants to move to a club with a greater chance of playing Champions League football.
The 27 year old came in for fierce criticism recently after overruling designated penalty taker Leighton Baines and then missing the subsequent kick, costing his side two points.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez may be convinced to let Mirallas leave, and Spurs hope the addition of Lennon will sweeten the deal.
