Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly agreed a deal to move to Real Madrid, as per a breaking report from talkSPORT.
After personal terms have been reached over a five-year deal worth £220,000 per week, it comes as a major blow to Arne Slot's side.
Having been in discussions with the Spanish giants since January, Trent is reportedly set to end his 20-year stay with the Reds.
It is understood that Real have kept Liverpool informed of their process throughout negotiations - with Trent out-of-contract this summer.
Months of negotiation have taken place, with the final decision having been made now by the player, according to talkSPORT.
A boyhood Liverpool fan and player, this news will come as a huge upset to Reds supporters.
Previously winning the Premier League and Champions League at the club, Alexander-Arnold has been a cornerstone to the side's success of recent times.
Hinting at a previous desire to build legend status at Anfield, Alexander-Arnold spoke in September on this to Sky Sports:
"I have always said I want to captain the club,”
"That is a goal of mine, whether that happens is out of my hands.”
