VIDEO: 48-year-old who played in J-League at same time as Gary Lineker scored a gorgeous header today

A man who made his debut in 1986 has scored a beautiful looping header today.

Kazuyoshi Miura is a forward who's plying his trade for Yokohama FC of the J-League's second division and he seems to be the oldest player in world football. To put his age into context, the 48-year-old was playing in the J-League at the same time as Gary Lineker was lining out for Nagoya Grampus Eight in the early nineties. Lineker retired in 1994 and Kazu is still togging out every week. And despite getting a little long in the tooth, he is still displaying some ludicrous quality up front. He scored this picture-perfect, looping header in Yokohama's 3-2 defeat to Jubilo Iwata today and given us all hope for the future.
