VIDEO: Pele’s thank you video to worried fans is very very cringe

It's great that Péle is recovering after a serious illness but the guitar and the faked smiles makes this video more than a little bit creepy

Péle has released a video to let his supporters across the world knows that he's doing well after a serious kidney problem. SportsJOE is delighted to hear the news but are a bit horrified at the forced nature of the video as the football legend strums along rather tunelessly in the video and speaks a mix of Portuguese and English. The 74 year-old has spent the last 11 days in hospital suffering from a serious kidney infection with fears that the he was close to death thankfully proving wide of the mark.
