A Romanian Cup match descended into madness this week as a coach became involved in a physical altercation with the referee.
It all kicked off when the referee awarded a penalty to Arsenal Malu against Union Springs in the 110th minute with the game deadlocked at 3-3.
A video which has emerged of the event appears to show a Union Springs player apparently stopping a free-kick with his hand, which caused the referee to award the spot kick.
As protests ensued from the Union Springs players, their manager came sprinting out onto the pitch to devliver a vicious right hand to the jaw of the referee.
Despite the madness, the game wasn't abandoned. In fact, the resulting penalty was missed and Union Springs went on to win the match 7-5 on penalties.
