Video: Sneak peek inside Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s €32m Hotel Football

The grand opening is February 28 but Neville has been busy dropping a glimpse here and a goo there.

Hotel Football - the place where sleeping, soccer and buffet sausages meet - will soon be a check-in, check-out reality when it opens its doors to the public at the end of this month. The £24m [€32.6m] project is the brainchild of former Manchester United players Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, who happens to be 40 today. The inner workings and designs of the hotel have been closely guarded ever since the build was announced in late 2013. Even the website is as cryptic and fluffy as Season 2, and beyond, of LOST. Nonetheless, if you are in Manchester any time soon and fancy a decent view of Old Trafford [and the top of Marouane Fellaini's head] have a gander at these snaps and videos.

Items on the menu at the hotel's eatery, Café Football, include Turf Cake [sounds delicious], the Welsh Dragon Burger, Goal and Zola pizza, Fiery Boss Burger and, thanks to the sustenance whims of the former 'future England captain', Nev's Posh Noodle Pot. The 12-floor, 13-room hotel will host a Manchester United Supporters Club. Neville, in the main video, notes a quirk. Manchester, as a region, does not have an official supporters club.
