Virgil van Dijk managed to annoy Manchester City's players with his reaction to Mohamed Salah's penalty in the Community Shield on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp's side secured a 3-1 victory over City in the annual season opener, which took place at Leicester City's King Power Stadium. Liverpool opened the scoring through Trent Alexander-Arnold, but Julian Alvarez levelled proceedings in the 70th minute. The Reds restored their advantage after Ruben Dias blocked Darwin Nunez's header with his hand. Salah stepped up to take the spot-kick and smashed his strike past Ederson in the City goal. As the Liverpool players ran off to celebrate with the Egyptian international, Ederson attempted to roll the ball back to the centre circle so his side could get the game restarted as quick as possible. However, Van Dijk - who was on his way over to Salah and the rest of his teammates - had other ideas.
