Ryan Giggs time at Old Trafford has come to an end after 29 years. The BBC are reporting that the Manchester United legend and the club have agreed a settlement on Giggs' contract as assistant manager, which had a year to run. The 42-year-old had been offered a youth team coaching role under Jose Mourinho, who is set to name Rui Faria as his assistant, but refused it. He is now expected to make his own way in management. Giggs signed for United on his 14th birthday, made his debut aged 17 and played until he was 40. Giggs was reportedly unhappy that he was overlooked for the managerial position in favour of Mourinho.
