Real Madrid were comfortable victors against Elche, as Marco Asensio flicked a shot through Eibar goalkeeper Marko Dmitrović's legs to open the scoring before star man Karim Benzema doubling their lead in the 73rd minute. La Liga's title race is now looking much tighter than those in Italy and England, with just three points separating Madrid rivals and Barcelona just one point behind Real Madrid in third place.
