Every nail in Dundalk was been gnawed down to the cuticle on Wednesday night... toes included.

It was far from easy, but Dundalk have secured their place in the third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Champions League by beating FH Hafnarfjordur on the away goal rule. The Icelandic outfit had the advantage going into the second leg having secured a 1-1 draw in Oriel Park last Wednesday night. It looked like the night was going to end in tears for the Lilywhites when the home side took the lead after 19 minutes with former Dundalk man Steven Lennon grabbing the lead.
