WATCH: Louis van Gaal tells reporter what’s what when asked about David de Gea’s future

We're not going to pretend that we'd be any ballsier than this reporter when prying at the undeniably intimidating figure of Louis van Gaal.

The Manchester United manager is not known to wilt under questioning and he maintained that reputation after his side's opening day victory over Spurs when asked about David de Gea's future. De Gea was dropped by the Dutchman for the game but Van Gaal explained that the club were keen on keeping their number one who had been voted player of the year two years in a row by United supporters.

As the line of questioning continued, LVG put the inquisitive reporter back in his box by saying:

"I don't want to interfere in that because it's not the place and it's none of your business either."

Quick to get Van Gaal back onside, the reporter bizarrely offered to buy Van Gaal a birthday drink in a restaurant later that evening. Game, set, match, Van Gaal.
