Roy Keane, as you might have guessed, is not a fan of Jose Mourinho's recent antics.

Despite a better start to the season than many expected - a start which has put Manchester United in second place in the Premier League with just one defeat in their opening ten games and all but guaranteed a place in the last 16 of the Champions League - Mourinho seems to be a little preoccupied in recent weeks. The United manager has inserted himself into a bizarre battle with fans that makes no sense whatsoever and continues to hit back at his critics in the media. Following United's 1-0 victory over Spurs on Saturday, Mourinho's priority was to deliver a shushing gesture to the camera before he went to shake the hand of the visiting manager, Mauricio Pochettino. Keane didn't like it. Whilst the former United captain is no stranger to conflict, he has suggested that the Portuguese get over whatever issue he currently has and just focus on the job at hand.

"They are going along nicely and one of the problems in Manchester at the moment is United fans are looking at what City are doing, how they are playing and the goals they are getting, but United just have to keep their heads down and keep winning matches," the Republic of Ireland assistant manager added. "If I was a player at United now, I'd be saying keep our heads down, let's keep chipping away. The trophies are not handed out now. Let's keep focused, keep winning and see what happens."
