Wexford Youths entirely sound gesture to fans for Dundalk’s Champions League game

Let's hope this catches on.

Dundalk are heading to the Aviva Stadium, next week, and they will hope to get as close to a capacity crowd as possible. Legia Warsaw are the side standing in the way of Stephen Kenny's men as they seek to qualify for the highly lucrative Champions League group stages. Dundalk will bring thousands upon thousands of their fans to the Dublin stadium but they will happily welcome neutrals and fans of rival SSE Airtricity League sides. They will be heartened, then, to learn that Wexford Youths are towing right in behind them. The whole notion of supporting a rival team has wound up many LOI fans and there were some terse responses.
