World Cup pundits get slaughtered in Mean Tweets video

No matter how good or bad a football pundit is at analysing football, their seemingly fair game for slagging on Twitter.

Mark Lawrenson's face resembles a candle, Emmanuel Petit looks like a 70s porn star and Paul Ince is worse than hair lice are just some of the tweets aimed at former pros ahead of this summer's FIFA World Cup in Russia. Petit, Ince, Lawrenson and referee Mark Clattenburg all read out mean tweets directed at them in a new video for Irish bookmaker Paddy Power. https://twitter.com/paddypower/status/1007290369472630785 Paddy Power have been very proactive already this month with the bookies set to donate £10,000 pounds to various LGBT groups every time hosts Russia score a goal at this summer's tournament. Working with Attitude magazine‘s Foundation, donations will be going to:

• Challenge LGBT+ prejudice on and off the field
• Support footballers and those in the game in coming out
• Fund educational programmes in schools and colleges
• Make grass-roots teams safe spaces for LGBT+ players

Paddy Power will donate a minimum of £50,000 in the event that Russia fail to score at least five goals over the group stages and founder Paddy Power said of the scheme:
