Manchester United's last indulgence in a player called Anderson didn't go so well as the Brazilian midfielder's £16 million move from Gremio in 2007 and eight-year Benny Hill-style chase around the buffet table. You would think that this experience would steer them well away from other Brazilian's called Anderson but it seems not. In  fairness to United's scouts, Lazio's 21-year-old midfielder Felipe Anderson is regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe and representatives of Paris St-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have travelled to Rome to watch him in recent weeks.
